“For several years we had the great fortune of enjoying a week at a special cabin on Mica Bay. The waters of Idaho bade us come canoe upon them, to swim in them, to keep our festal days! While the kids built puzzles at the dining table, I sketched out and painted the scene we passed on our way to the cabin—quietly, happily bobbing along among the cattails and boggy crags.”
